In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can vividly recall my dad playing a Sunny Ade concert cassette in the living room when I was maybe 6 years old. He had gone to the concert with my mum. I would start dancing all around the house because the unique Yoruba sound had me captivated. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Thriller Wande Coal, Mushin 2 Mo' Hits Fela's No Agreement has an evergreen Afro sound that is unique. The rhythm and vibe are timeless. The thriller album is chock full of timeless classic hallmark tunes. M2M album is a masterpiece that perfectly captures the essence of the genre. Tell us why you chose this song. “Party” I was unable to link up with my producer due to covid restrictions, so the song was produced using a live streaming app. At the time, my producer was in Lagos, and I was in London. Although it was difficult, the song's end result was fantastic. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to do what I love and bringing smiles to people's faces will always stand out as my most memorable industry experience since it is priceless. It's impossible to put into words the feelings and emotions that are associated with this. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? More than I could have ever imagined, my sound attracts millions globally who attend my tours, buy my CDs and merchandise, and support my charitable foundation. Anything else that happens along the way is a bonus, and I will always be grateful. SYB
