In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I always wanted to play the piano as a kid. When I was in middle school, I came home to find an upright black Schubert piano in our living room. I have played piano every day since. Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak Kid Cudi, Man On the Moon, Vol. II: The Legend of Mr. Rager (Deluxe Version) Kid Cudi, Man On the Moon: The End of Day 808s & Heartbreak personally got me through a tough time I had in college as I was away from my family in another state. The drums on each track are legendary. I've also always been transfixed on space, and Man on the Moon is a galactic masterpiece. Tell us why you chose this song. “Let the Light In” This song holds a special place in my heart as it was written about someone that I lost that was very close to me. I hope this song can be a light to those that have experienced similar loss of their own. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Launching my 1st album, My Point of View, was very special as I wrote, sang, played piano, and recorded each of the 17 songs. Many do not know, but the 1 in stagefr1te references me being a solo independent artist.
