About Staci Griesbach

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory as a toddler is sitting on the floor of what we called "the piano room" in our old farmhouse in Wisconsin playing my mom's 45's from the 1950s and 60s - The Chiffons, Supremes, Beach Boys and more. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ella Fitzgerald, The Complete Ella Fitzgerald Song Books (Box Set) Shania Twain, The Woman In Me The Judds, The Judds Collection Ella Fitzgerald is my North Star. Her voice is so remarkable, versatile and warm. Shania is my inspirational North Star as she transformed her life and continues to turn every obstacle into something positive. The Judds are simply incomparable. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Here You Come Again” Dolly Parton is an incredible role model as a female artist, songwriter and businesswoman. This classic tune was written by Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, and the Jazz arrangement allowed me to really stretch the vocal interpretation to make it my own. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first album release (My Patsy Cline Songbook) was such a joy. Rolling Stone debuted my first single, and I played the Country Music Hall of Fame, Carnegie Hall (Patsy & Loretta movie), and Birdland. Tied is becoming member of the Grammys in 2022. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I carry a pretty big bucket filled with wishes! My hope is to run a headlining tour worldwide, playing and singing my own tunes. I'd also like to collaborate or perform with my favorite artists, like Shania Twain, Diana Krall or Willie Nelson.
