In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 4 or 5, my parents bought me a red MP3 player with only classical CDs in it. I remember taking it everywhere with me and singing along to an opera at full volume on a plane when everyone was trying to sleep. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ariana Grande, eternal sunshine Daniel Caesar, Freudian Hiatus Kaiyote, Choose Your Weapon I feel like these three albums really encapsulate who I am as an artist and lover of music. I love me some VOCALS - vocal layering, a gospel choir, crunchy harmonies, and an emotional delivery. These albums truly taught me so much about the voice. Tell us why you chose this song. “uprobablyforgotmebynow” This song is so special to me because its the kind of music I crave to feel seen and understood. Thinking about the passage of time and being scared of growing up can often be hard to verbalize, and I was fully able to do so in this record. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Connecting with fans all across the US and the world and hearing how my music makes them feel heard. It's honestly why I do it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much!!! Headlining a big venue like Music Hall of Williamsburg or Webster Hall, performing on a late night show, shooting a huge music video with a massive budget, and crowd surfing :)
