Leonard Cohen, Songs of Love and Hate Some Days Are Darker, Some Days Are Darker The Sisters of Mercy, First and Last and Always There is a through line from Songs of Love and Hate to First and Last and Always to the first Some Days Are Darker record. If you know where to look you will find it. These albums were two of my biggest influences on the early material.
