Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Born in Brooklyn; toddler years in Trinidad; raised by a single mom in Brooklyn & self-nurtured as an adult in Queens NY, Simply Missy embraces all music & cultures introduced to her by her family & found on her own as an avid international traveler Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fete Too Much (feat. Trini Baby)” Not many stories were passed on to Simply Missy about music beyond her mother’s adopted countries of Trinidad and St. Vincent, where Soca music prevails; but traced more roots to Nigeria & Mali to bridge the gap with her sultry ASMR vocals.  What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Capitalizing on her family’s Trinidadian roots & the love of soca & reggae music, Simply Missy, born Melissa Sharon Glasgow, compiled several singles & new material to release her debut 2023 EP, solidifying her spot in music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? How did Simply Missy become so lyrically & melodically inclined w/natural vocal arrangement abilities across all genres? Answer- she’s representing Queens, but she was raised out in Brooklyn. Bucket list items; a music video & mastering more genres.
