Shutdown 66

Influenced by the great trashy garage bands and British R&B from the '60s, Shutdown 66 came together in the late '90s in Melbourne, Australia. After receiving rave reviews for its first single, the band recorded its debut just in time for an appearance at the Las Vegas Grind festival. Welcome to Dumpsville was originally released on Corduroy in a limited edition, and reissued on Get Hip in 2003. ~ David Jeffries
