Sheik Tosado

Appearing in the fertile track opened by the mangue beat movement, Sheik Tosado was formed in 1996 in Pernambuco by the brothers China (vocal) and Bruno Ximaru (guitar) and by Oroska (percussion) with a hardcore sound based on Pernambucan references. Introduced to major audiences in the Abril Pro Rock festival of 1998, they launched their first album in 1999, Som de Caráter Urbano e de Salão.
