In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At six, my parents bought me a mandolin. I was thrilled! They placed it on the fridge, just out of reach, but I played on it endlessly, even though I could only manage a simple exercise on the empty strings. That moment ignited my passion for music. It is Friday evening. I’m on my way from the synagogue straight into the delicious-smelling kitchen of my Persian grandmother. The memory of this loving home will never leave me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most unforgettable moments in my career was performing with the German Chamber Orchestra at the prestigious Berliner Philharmonie. It was an exhilarating experience to present my music, where I also played as an Oud soloist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, there's always more to explore and achieve. One item on my bucket list is to collaborate with musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds to create a fusion of sounds that celebrates our shared humanity.
