About Shane Borza

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first music memory is of listening to Don McClean's American Pie in the garage while my dad changed the oil in the car. I was little and pretending to drive. As the song is long, it gave me time to learn the chorus and we sang it together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Liz Phair, Exile In Guyville 2018 Remaster Prince, Sign O' The Times Rollins Band, The End of Silence All three of these albums blew my mind in completely different ways; The End of Silence was my introduction to Henry Rollins, Prince is like gravity (he cannot be denied), and Liz Phair KILLS IT on this album from start to finish! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “How's the Weather Man” I love this song as the story is an important contrast of, not only perspectives, but different sides and times in history. I also love how this evolved from a poem to a spoken word piece to a film to a song and, finally, to a complete album. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing How's The Weather Man live on stage at the Vegas City Opera "2020 Song Cycle" event was an outstanding achievement. The power of a live audience, as well as being able to share my art - and this story in particular - was thrilling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My next album will be all original music and I am psyched to put out a multimedia package supporting it! To include; a book, series of music videos, and film. Look for it all to hit next year.
