Seafarers

Seafarers are a London-based ensemble founded by saxophonist and composer Matthew Herd with classmates from the Royal Academy of Music including vocalist/composer Lauren Kinsella (Snowpoet). Their sound, as evidenced by Orlando, their 2020 debut album, showcases a unique meld of contemporary British jazz, Celtic folk, and indie chamber pop. 2022's II focused less on jazz and more on their particular brand of sophisticated pop.
