In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In ~ the 4th grade I found this dope old polyester covered box filled with every Beatles release on cassette. My friend Tracy and I rifled through them ever day after school for what felt like months. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Built to Spill, Keep It Like a Secret Interpol, Turn On the Bright Lights Wilco, Summerteeth These are not my definitive top 3 because that's an impossible question that I'd rather debate amongst friends than actually come up with an answer. I picked these because they're amazing front to back listens I'll go back to from college Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “5pm” This one’s special for me just because it captures an atmosphere that feels palpable. Longing, acceptance, heart ache but not heart break. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting put on regular rotation on WFUV in New York City with my song I Forgot It By Heart was special. It was my first release and to know it was played for 100's of thousands of NYers was really exciting. I lost it when I heard it randomly playing Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? yes and no. I'm happy to just be making music that people will listen to so i've basically achieved what it is I am looking for. but yes, all the rest of it is still in the bucket too
