In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I remember trying to write songs on piano. I was playing chords without realising it. I remember wondering about what sort of systems there might be that could allow one to improvise on piano, and going up to pianists to ask. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Damien Rice, My Favourite Faded Fantasy Sting, Sacred Love säje, säje I love these albums for their exquisite songwriting and beautiful arrangements. The songs have such depth, the lyrics are tasteful and poetic. I can listen to these albums over and over again and never get enough. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ring Out, Wild Bells” I wrote and recorded the music over this existing poem, which was published in 1750. I love the timelessness of it. Even in our day, the words are so applicable and deep. I loved creating my own cathedral of sound by layering up many acapella vocals. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Shooting the music video for my song 'Earth' in the Akámas peninsula in Cyprus. The beauty of the nature (Avakas Gorge, to be specific) overwhelmed me. Going under in the sea, which was stormy that day, was humbling. I realised the power of nature. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Writing, recording and producing a full album of vocal layer works, in the line of 'Ring out, wild bells'.
