In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember clapping along to a song on the radio when I was about 3 or 4 — my parents couldn't believe that I could keep a beat. Fast forward a few weeks and they got me a piano, where I taught myself how to play along with what I heard on the radio. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Matchbox Twenty, Exile On Mainstream Red Hot Chili Peppers, Californication (Deluxe Edition) The Beatles, Yellow Submarine Californication taught me how to enjoy and have fun with music, Exile on Mainstream taught me how to incorporate emotion into my music, and Yellow Submarine taught me how to tell a story through a song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to record and work with a true hero of mine, Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer, Greg Collins. He helped create my all-time favorite records, and having him work with me to bring my ideas to life was surreal.
