In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 7, my brother showed me some chords he learned in guitar lessons - G, C and D - and I was hooked. When he wasn’t home I’d take his guitar and pop on some YouTube video of whatever song I was feeling that day. I’ve kinda kept on that wave. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Tyler, The Creator, IGOR These albums have shaped my musical interest and my sound more than any other. I constantly go back in and find something new and fascinating. I aspire to create a piece of art so cohesive and masterful as any one of these. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sos!” This song marks a massive undertaking in my work. I have given myself and my art a long look over the past year and I’m beyond ready to take my listeners into this new era of creative exploration that I’ve been compiling. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I’ll never forget the amount of genuine support from the college house-show scene. Being 5 feet in front of a crowd of 80 people in a basement screaming your lyrics allows for this raw, intimate atmosphere that exists only out of the love for music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’m already planning 3 albums in advance, so there’s a lot of things I wanna do. But a generation-defining concept album is at the top of my list. I need that 10, Anthony.
