When I was beginning to learn the guitar, I remember spending hours sitting in front of my CD player boombox in my mom's empty garage playing the Nirvana unplugged album as if I were part of the band. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Cornell, Euphoria Morning Counting Crows, August and Everything After Ray LaMontagne, Till the Sun Turns Black These three albums always come to mind when I think of unique and powerful music. Chris Cornell and Ray have beautiful vocals, and the first Counting Crows record is known for its emotional depth. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pick Your Head Up” This is one of my favorite original songs. It was written to be encouraging and uplifting. Playing it live is always a joy. It's a joy not only to me but to others as well. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2023, I was commissioned to compose a piece of music for the LBJ Wildflower Center in Austin, TX. The song I created is "4 Elements." it's an orchestral rock piece that combines the sounds of all four elements found in nature. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I look forward to performing solo acoustic in medium to large-sized venues around the United States and abroad. I want to play theatres large enough to hold 1000-plus people but still feel intimate and sound great.
