In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember watching the Beatles movies A Hard Days Night and Help - around the time they came out in the 60's. The impact was immediate and I knew what I wanted to do! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cream, Disraeli Gears Remastered Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered The Beatles, Revolver "Revolver " is almost the perfect pop album - it encompasses so many genres. "Disraeli Gears" by Cream shows the difference of one year - 1967 and the flowering of guitar expression. "Dark Side of The Moon" 1973 - is the most wonderful soundscape. Tell us why you chose this song. “We Live Before We Die” For me this is a pinnacle of the music and arrangement reflecting the lyrics. Its a song of mourning loss - the pump organ and guitar complement the melody in a most satisfying way. I am very proud of this track and have received many compliments! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have enjoyed working with legendary musician /organist Charles Hodges (Al Green) -and Grammy Winner Boo Mitchell (Bruno Mars,Kingfish) at Royal Studios Memphis. I have also enjoyed playing hundreds of shows on World Famous Beale Street,Memphis. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I will enjoy working on more soulful blues albums with Memphis greats (Charles Hodges, Boo Mitchell,Katrina Anderson, Yella P,Justin Walker) at Royal Studios Memphis!
