About Red Marlow

Red Marlow won over audiences on the 13th season of The Voice by trumpeting his cornpone country roots, a move that got him into the finals and won him fans. A native of Alabama, he moved to Nashville at the age of 22. He wound up as a demo singer while releasing independent EPs in an attempt to establish himself as a recording artist. He worked like this for 15 years before deciding to pack it in and turn his attention to a construction company. Although Mr. Fix All helped him support his family, he couldn't quite abandon his dreams of country music stardom, so he decided to audition for The Voice when he was 40 years old. Marlow made it onto the show in the second half of 2017 and wound up being placed on Blake Shelton's team. He stayed with the show until the finals, getting eliminated in the first round, finishing in fourth place. Once he left the show, he laid plans to tour and release a full album in 2018. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
