Recap is a quartet of percussionists, all women and people of color, who advocate for diversity in the world of percussion. Recap's members are Arlene Acevedo, Alexis Carter, Tiahna Sterling, and Aline Vasquez. The group released its debut album, Count to Five, in 2021; the album featured new works by Angélica Negrón, Allison Loggins-Hull, Ellen Reid, Lesley Flanigan, Mary Kouyoumdjian, and Caroline Shaw, and showcased the group's abilities on a wide range of percussion instruments, including found objects.
