In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father used to listen to jazz and big band standards. I have an amazing memory of him giving me his walkman headphones when I was 4 or 5 years old and telling me one day I would write songs like that. I believed him. Tell us why you chose this song. “Into Heaven Alone” Into Heaven Alone was the first song I wrote that made me believe in myself as an artist. It just flowed right through me in one take. Fred Falke looked at me and said YES! Heaven is a key theme in all my songs. And, David Guetta almost released it!
