Before I ever knew I was going to be a musician, probably back when I still wanted to be an astronaut or something, I took singing lessons at Guitar Center. They held a showcase at the bakery next door and I sang my little heart out, here we are now! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Kanye West, Yeezus Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly These albums inspired me in so many ways, I wouldn't be the artist I am today without the boundaries Yeezus pushed, or the genius that is Blonde & TPAB. The melancholic nature of Blonde has resonated with me since 8th grade, TPAB is just insanity. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “MAN ENOUGH (feat. Trishawn)” This song broke down boundaries for men all over the world. Toxic masculinity is a real thing, men are afraid to cry, to talk about their feelings, to literally just be mentally healthy due to the pressure of society. This song shows that it's okay! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Ghostface Killah from the Wu-Tang Clan was surreal. I grew up listening to 36 Chambers on repeat and to be in the same room as Ghostface for the same reason was insane to me. The show was also a mental health benefit, that's so important! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One day I really want to headline my own tour, while this is definitely achievable in due time... I always have to stay humble haha. I want to share my music with the world in a performance. I love performing, it's the best man, it's electrifying.
