Poem Rocket

Poem Rocket is an eclectic New York City trio formed in 1992 featuring Sandra Gardner, Michael Peters, and Peter Gordon. Their immersive sound blends post-punk, noise, psych, and art rock with avant-garde lyrics. Influenced by artists like Suicide, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Brian Eno, and Steve Reich, they debuted with Felix Culpa in 1995. Their first full album, Infinite Retry on Parallel Time Out, was released in 1998. They followed up with the critically acclaimed Psychogeography in 2000. After a seven-year hiatus, they released Invasion!, a double album, in 2007. In 2024, they teamed up with Silver Girl Records to release Lend-Lease, an EP recorded in 1999.
