In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, my family moved around different parts of Dallas frequently, so we spent a lot of time in the car. My parents had two cd cases that held their favorite albums. One for hip-hop, the other for neo-soul. I fell in love with both. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life In my opinion, 'TPAB' is the best rap album of all time, 'Voodoo' is the best neo-soul album of all time and 'Songs In The Key of Life' is the most transcendent album I've ever heard. Tell us why you chose this song. “SPLIT FARE (feat. DACEY)” This song is a snapshot of vulnerability. Speaking on love and uncertainty alike is often difficult and short-lived. This makes the short opening and shift from one part of the song to the next all the more needed. Its felt verbally and sonically.
