In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My family gave me the earliest experiences of music. At 3 years old I would go into my older sisters room each morning to head bang to bands like Incubus and Nirvana. By the age of 4 I was using my dad's turntable gaining vast knowledge of 70's music What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DOPE LEMON, Honey Bones Daniel Norgren, Wooh Dang J.J. Cale, Okie Although I had an affinity with Hip Hop in my early teenage years my heart still lies with that little 4 year old putting on some amazing rock, country, soul... anything i could get my hands on. These albums resonate with that 4 year old me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Rise” I wrote 'The Rise' years ago whilst suffering from depression. It was my way to figure out how to be happy. It's family orientated and based on all the little things in life that get overlooked. My sister plays Sax and my mother is the album art. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was in a covers band for many years. We we're booked to play a wedding. During the interval I decided to play some original tunes and the crowd lit up! It was an incredible feeling and something that secured in me, my love song writing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't have any major goals when it comes to songwriting and producing. I do it for myself and the love of expression. To me... That's enough and will always be enough. If people enjoy my work then great but that's not my main aim.
