In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I clearly remember sitting on the floor of my grandparents' house looking at my grandfather's jazz CDs. He would let me choose one to listen to on his old stereo system. It's one of the first times I remember connecting with someone through music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Foo Fighters, Foo Fighters: Greatest Hits - EP Green Day, American Idiot Jackson Browne, Jackson Browne - Solo Acoustic, Vol. 1 & 2 (Live) These albums are the first ones I found on my own, without an adult telling me I should listen to them - it was an organic experience. They span genre but are the basis for my music now. They're able to express their emotions across genre. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Don't Go Home Much Anymore” This is the first song I ever released so it's very special because it was my introduction to the world as a singer/songwriter. It was a compilation of many of the feelings I had about leaving my hometown in order to pursue my dream. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think releasing my first single is the most memorable so far. It was my introduction to the world as an artist. It helped me start to get press and provide me a roadmap to where I want to go. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to play my hometown arena - the Giant Center one day. I also want to be able to play on a late night show, specifically Late Night with Seth Meyers and Saturday Night Live.
