About Patrick Widen

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I once (attempted) to play the Gibson showcase in Nashville on a whim when they invited me on stage. I was radically unprepared. It didn't go great but thankfully it didn't reach maximum tragedy either. I think I was 14 or 15 at the time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Avicii, True: Avicii By Avicii Cherub, Doses & Mimosas - EP Gym Class Heroes, The Papercut Chronicles Avicii was an absolutely incredible artist that left us far too soon. Huge inspiration. Jason from Cherub is a friend. It's wild just how much he's achieved. Beautiful human. I interviewed Travie McCoy at age 14. I'll never forget it. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Twin Flame” My first and only song I've released so far. I wrote it to capture a moment in time. It's unique because it doesn't follow any traditional semblance of structure. It never repeats, builds the whole time then ends abruptly. I love it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I go almost everywhere with headphones around my neck so I can play my new music for anyone that's willing to listen. I've shared my music with over 1000 people this way and each and every one of them made a memory I'll never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? If you're going to dream, dream big. One day, I'd love to grace the stages of Coachella, Ultra, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and the Super Bowl half-time show.
