In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first experience singing in public was at a scout's meeting at the age of 14-15 years old; I was hooked on performing from then on! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, Aretha Now Richard Grand, Lou Rawls Medley: You'll Never Find / Lady Love / See You When I Get There - Single Sam Cooke, The Best of Sam Cooke Aretha is arguably at her best on this album with a mix of rhythms and sass at per usual. She's in voice. Lou Rawls delivers his signature vocals. Humbly, my voice has been compared to Lou's. Sam has set the standard that many singers have aspired to Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “What We Need Is Love” This song is very special to me as it speaks to the current state of our fragile world and where we are likely heading. Wrote this out of frustration seeing many autocratic/populous world leaders flexing their power at the expense of the vulnerable What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the grand finale talent show on "Scouting For Talent" at fifteen along with three friends in Trinidad is my most memorable musical moment. Our trio "The Canneries" won out of eight finalists, each chosen from the previous week's appearance. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, to have one of my songs covered by a major recording artist eg: I wrote "For Awhile" specifically with Celine Dion in mind. This song is a ballad, in honour of the passing of her husband René. To have Diane Warren write a song for me.
