About Pamela Storch
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I received music in my dreams. When I woke up in the morning, I would go downstairs to the piano, play what I dreamt, and the piece would be finished. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Christophe Beck, Evan Rachel Wood, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez, Kristen Bell, Robert Lopez, Frozen 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Deluxe Edition Enya, The Very Best of Enya Rupert Gregson-Williams, Wonder Woman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) I chose an album by Enya, because her voice is like an angel, and you can feel the Divine resonance in her music. Wonder Woman is the empowerment of the feminine warrior, with the deep beautiful cello. Frozen 2 is into the unknown to find yourself. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Silver Moonlight” Silver Moonlight was the first piece of music I ever composed. I wrote it around age 7. I named it "Silver Moonlight" because I loved Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. It defies traditional time signature and key, and is a metaphor for life's journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was giving a concert in Jerusalem, when all of a sudden, the entire audience got up, and started dancing around the piano and singing with me. It was such a beautiful experience of unity, it became everyone's concert, everyone's voice. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to give a concert in Carnegie Hall, in New York City, where my great grandfather performed on violin. I would also love to continue to travel the world, inspiring others, being inspired, and making music, art and poetry wherever I go.
