About Olumide

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Opening for King Lil G at the Baltimore Soundstage. That was my first "real" look at a major venue in front of real people in a city I wasn't from for a major artist. It was dope and showed me a lot of what can be done. Since then been going hard. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city The-Dream, Love Vs. Money Get Rich or Die Tryin got me into rap for real. I remember everyone around me in summer school singing "Meny Men." I had to find out what that. It's a really perfect album. Love vs Money, Dream is a GOAT. Same for good kid & Kendrick. No skips Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Toxic in the City” Toxic in the City is honestly just from the soul and heart. Those always turn out to be my favorite tracks. Even more special it was produced by my brother, Kilasi. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Making it to the Washington Post. It honestly was the first official move that my mom could understand. Everyone knows Washington Post. I was able to grab a few printed physical copies too - one of my biggest and proudest achievements fo sho. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely. For me I think it's to perform all over the world, knock out as many venues as I can. A lot of collaborations like 50 Cent, Future, Kendrick, Ella Mai, The Dream, Dr Dre - endless dreams. Got a lot to achieve as an artist!
