In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had to learn to play the cornet when I was eight and I was awful at it. Now I love brass, particularly in indie stuff. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo and The Vanguard, Black Messiah David Bowie, Station to Station (Deluxe Edition) Neutral Milk Hotel, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea Black Messiah by D'Angelo & the Vanguard (as it's unbelievably meticulous), Station to Station by David Bowie (because I love massive spectacles), and In the Aeroplane over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel (because I'm a terminally online music dweeb). Tell us why you chose this song. “Lieutenant Bark” This was the first song I ever put out, but not before I'd spent about 600 hours on it... It was a pretty all-consuming process. I'd spend days just undoing previous days' worth of editing. I couldn't be more happy with it now. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finally having my own mother say she didn't mind what I was making (- I'll take it) Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely everything. I've just started! All I'm thinking about now though is Album Three.
