About Office for Personal Development

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a child I grew up on a military camp in Germany. They would send 'cultural orientation' acts to perform for us. A cheap imitation Spice Girls style band called 'Girl Force' put on a show in the Junior ranks social club. It was incredible. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Talking Heads, Remain In Light I was late to Talking Heads, I didn't know them until a band played Psycho Killer at a party when I was at Art School. The rest is history. 'Once In A Lifetime' is the perfect example of how to write a meaningful song that is also entertaining. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Invisible To Me” I spent 20 years as a musician working in the folk tradition. When I made the change a lot of the songs were already written with an acoustic guitar and developed electronically. This was the first song that came from my new process. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We played to 1000 people at Hastings Pride, on the Pier. What I loved was that it wasn't a 'music crowd' it was people looking to have a good time and we helped them with that. We really connected, with real people, in real life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We're going to need a bigger bucket. The bucket is always overflowing.
