Octavian

About Octavian

The seven members of Octavian formed the group in 1969 while they were in high school. MCA finally signed them to a contract six years later and released Simple Kinda People. Several singles appeared during the late '70s, but the band broke up in 1979. With no lineup changes during their ten-year career, Octavian consisted of vocalists Daryl Alguire and John Pulkinen, guitarists Warren Barbour and Bill Gavreau, bassist Ray Lessard, drummer Kirk Darrow, and keyboard player Rob McDonald. ~ John Bush
