I fell in love with bands like Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, etc. but also noisy and shoegaze bands like My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth. Throw all of those influences together, add a dash of electronica, and you have Now After Nothing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Placebo, Black Market Music The Sisters of Mercy, Floodland my bloody valentine, Loveless This list changes daily, but Black Market Music by Placebo, Floodland by The Sisters of Mercy, and Loveless by My Bloody Valentine never stray far from the top 10. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sick Fix” I’m especially excited about this song as it was the first song I wrote the band. It's very meaningful to me personally. I also love the ear candy in this one - lots of little bleeps, blurps, bells and whistles. It’s definitely one for headphones. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing that The Cure’s Lol Tolhurst really liked my cover of “All I Want," but he would have liked me to make his pizzicato part louder in my mix - ha! File that under things I never would have imagined as a young kid first discovering The Cure. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I feel pretty content with the music I've created, which is really all that should matter. However, playing a show in Tokyo would really be the icing on the cake!
