Nosferatu

About Nosferatu

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing guitar in 1969 aged 3, on the stairs of my parents maisonette in Stockwell, London. I won't tell you what song and which artist I was singing along to. You'll have to guess. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ramones, Mondo Bizarro Sex Pistols, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols The engineering, recording and production on these 3 albums is superb. All recorded on 24 track reel to reel running at 30 i.p.s. Oh what clarity! Sadly missing on a lot of albums today. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Witching Hour” Perhaps our most well known song? Rat Scabies made a sterling performance on this recording at 3am. The keyboards provide the atmosphere, the vocals provide the ambience, the guitar puts the rock in Gothic Rock and the late Doc Miltons engineering. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Walking into HMV Superstore in 1993 to see if they were stocking our debut album "Rise". They had it on vinyl & CD along with our single "Inside The Devil", but moreso, we had our own divider on the racks with the band name "Nosferatu" in dymo tape. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Personally, I would like to work with Ed Stasium as producer with Marky Ramone as special guest drummer. It would also be cool to ask Mr Vanian to sing on a couple of atmospheric numbers.
