In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Several of us have the same origin story: we grew up in the church. Sunday mornings and youth groups were our gateway into live music. We love how churches played a vital role in our musical beginnings and how they continue to be our artistic home. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bethel Music, Tides Live Hillsong UNITED, United We Stand (Live) United Pursuit, Will Reagan, Endless Years United We Stand gets credit for inspiring several of us that we wanted to be worship leaders. Endless Years taught us that worship music can also be deeply moving and creative. Tides Live established a sound in modern worship music that is unrivaled. Tell us why you chose this song. “King (Live)” King articulates a central and critical idea for us: we are not the main character in this world. We are a small part of a much bigger and much more beautiful story. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2023 we recorded our first full length album. This is by far the largest musical project we have ever produced to date, but more importantly it really feels like an honest representation of who we are and who we have become as artists. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to move the needle on what "worship" is by modern definition. Some day, we want to live in a world where Christian artists are making the most inspiring art in every medium, and we hope to help embolden the next wave of artists and dreamers.
