Nick Leng's elegant, crafted indie electronica first created a buzz in 2013, when the second track he shared, "Crawled out of the Sea," became a minor viral hit. He was drawing millions of streams by 2015, as he gradually shifted from wordless electronic productions like that year's "Tunnels and Planes" (the title track from his debut EP) toward dreamy indie pop that featured his voice, such as the woozy "Ticking" from late 2018. ~ Marcy Donelson
