About New Scottish Hymns Band

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We used to sing in church from the red hymn book (church hymnary 3, or CH3) as well as the "modern" songs from Mission Praise. We sang Dolly Parton and the Corries in the car. Queen's "One Vision" was the song that made me ask my dad for a guitar. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fernando Ortega, Come Down O Love Divine Maddy Prior, The Carnival Band, Sing Lustily & With Good Courage Peter John Crockett, Psalms for All Folk, Vol. 2 Three albums that really help me to reflect on the wonder of God. Pete's psalm paraphrases have really moving melodies, and the lyrics are full of enlivening scripture. Maddy Prior's hymns are unaffected by fashion, but so joyful. And Ortega's voice. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Though the Nations Gather (Psalm 2)” We are ignorant of the stakes of salvation. Many set themselves up against God, and resent his authority, and disdain his grace. But He sets His own King in Zion- Jesus, who offers forgiveness. Humble acceptance leads to joy - rejection to our doom.
