In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 4 I received a collection of albums from the parent of a child who had died. In it was Peter and the Wolf, an introduction to the orchestra. I loved that record. I would also listen to rock & roll 45's my older sister played. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ella Fitzgerald, Ella Fitzgerald Sings the George and Ira Gershwin Song Book Josef Krips, London Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven: The Complete Symphony Collection Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Texas Flood I love the voice of Ella Fitzgerald, the complete genius of Beethoven, and guitar work and vocals of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Tell us why you chose this song. “Angel of the Blues” This song is special because of what the lyrics mean to me personally. I also love the arrangement with the horns and the all great musicians on the track. They are all special people that I worked with a lot and love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I sang a song in Manderin Chinese in Taiwan with only keyboard accompaniment for a huge outdoor concert, as the guitarist with a 14-piece R &B band on tour. They asked me to learn it in 3 days which I did, so worth the challenge! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to tour to Europe and parts of the USA with my new band, Nancy and The Restless Girls. I'd like to make another live album as a result.
