About Nahash Mwathi

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I definitely remember the tiny keyboard we had in the house, that I'd come to play every time we left church. I would try to reproduce whatever I'd heard the choir singing in church. It was the start of a beautiful journey. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Calum Entermann, My Side - EP Jonathan McReynolds, Make Room Kemy Ogendi, Note to Self The three albums speak about having space in your heart for God, and trusting Him through whatever hardships. I enjoy the music as it speaks to my style which is relatively calm and soothing with rich and deep lyrics. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Love Flowchart (feat. Luddy Meryl)” I love this song as it is a summary of my whole musical journey. It's been a battle believing that God loves even me, and wants me to experience all of His love. The song is about my struggle with low self-esteem, and I'm glad many listeners relate. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Most of my memorable moments aren't numbers or features, but are getting to hear how the music has affected someone going through a tough time. That's the whole point! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to sing to many more physical and virtual audiences, and interact with artists I've always admired like Jonathan McReynolds, Heritage Singers, Gaither Vocal band. I would also love to have a COLOURS feature and NPR tiny desk concert.
