About Molly Hocking

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is when I was 4 and at Christmas all I wanted was an electronic mini-piano. I saw something big wrapped up and it was a bike. I was so sad! But fortunately my grandfather had got me one as a gift. One of my best days! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billie Eilish, Happier Than Ever George Ezra, Gold Rush Kid (Apple Music Edition) Lana Del Rey, Born to Die George Ezra - Gold Rush Kid. He’s been one of my favourite artists from the start Happier than Ever - Billie Eilish. Had it on repeat for ages when it came out Born to Die - Lana. A very special album. It reminds me of my first summer of freedom! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “We Can Have the World Tonight” “We Can Have the World Tonight” is special to me as it was my first independent song, it took a lot for me to release this as I didn’t know where it would go for me but I will always hold this song in a special place. It's a song about not giving up. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Supporting Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, and McFly. Or maybe when I was locked out of my hotel all night and when mum tried to rescue me and then she got locked in the fire exit stairwell! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To play main stage Glastonbury, support some of my favourite artists, and perform at the Royal Albert Hall as mum has a dress already for it but needs time to fit in it - maybe that’s a goal for next year? I'd also love to do the Jools Holland Show.
