In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first music experiences came from growing up in a Baptist church in rural Virginia. I remember a girl my age singing once and I was so amazed that she could get up and sing in front of everyone like that. Deep down I wanted to sing like that too. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Des'ree, I Ain't Movin' India.Arie, Voyage to India (Bonus Track Version) Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Spanish Fly India Arie has been a favorite artist of mine from the moment I heard her. The Spanish Fly Lisa Lisa Cult Jam is how I discovered r&b. I loved the songwriting on Des'ree's album- such a great blend of acoustic soul and pop. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've had songs in tv and film and next I want to get one of my own songs in a commercial.
