About Meteor Street
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Alison Belle: Seeing They Might be Giants at Royce Hall. The album No! is beyond any kid's album-- it is comedic high art. Aldo Riba: Finding a Jacques Brel album in my father's record collection. I had never heard anything like it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pretenders, Pretenders Supertramp, Crime of the Century Remastered The Fratellis, Costello Music Alison Belle: Top to tail Crime of the Century has some of the most poignant & lasting lyrics I've ever heard. Aldo Riba: The rebirth of rock in the 80s. Both: The first Fratellis album is bangers all the way down, with a few tear-jerkers to boot. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tell Me It's Still Changing” We can feel it. We've been feeling it: The we know is ending world but in this song we plead to rid the soul of inevitability. We leave room for someone to reassure us that there’s still some sort of chance or that it won’t be as bad as it could be.
