Mercury Switch

About Mercury Switch

Formed in late 2001 and notorious for going through bass players like Spinal Tap went through drummers, Danville, NH's Mercury Switch specialize in typical mid-2000s melodic deathcore, only spiced with unusual abundance of synthesizers and a occasional art and math rock songwriting twists. Quickly scooped up by Indianola Records, the band, which as of 2005 comprised vocalist Sam, guitarist Mark, vocalist and synth player Luke, bassist Eli, and drummer Jon, debuted in 2003 with the extensively titled If You Love Me, You'd Take Me to the City album, then followed it two years later with the sophomore Time to Shine. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
