Melinda Felletár

About Melinda Felletár

Melinda Felletar is a Hungarian harp virtuoso. As a child, she studied piano, then switched to harp, studying with Richard Weninger. She graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a performer's diploma in harp. Her teacher there was Vera Dulova. She pursues a concert and solo career and teaches in Budapest. Felletar has recorded a solo CD of harp music, and participated in the Budapest music Center project honoring Hungarian teacher and composer Leó Weiner by playing Weiner's Romance for cello and harp with the great cellist Janos Starker and the Budapest Chamber Symphony conducted by Tibor Varga.
