About Mazedude

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up with video games. When I was four years old, we got an Atari. Later, a Nintendo. And as I grew, so did the technology. But I absolutely fell in love with Nintendo-style chiptunes... so much great music per limitations. Favorite OST: Rygar. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jason Graves, The Order: 1886 (Video Game Soundtrack) Peter McConnell, Psychonauts 2 (Original Soundtrack), Vol. 1 Various Artists, God of War II (Original Soundtrack from the Video Game) I appreciate music that transcends a typical genre. Games allow composers to do that, take their tunes a step beyond what they'd be able to do for film. Unique forms, ethnic and exotic instruments, fun times with time signatures, and more. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sagat's Moonbike (From "Street Fighter II: The World Warrior")” I'm very proud of my arrangement of Sagat's theme. Writing that was a weird day, I composed while super under the weather, threw some very weird sounds into a tracker homage, and just played... and then the folks at Capcom (and beyond) loved it.
