In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my dad replacing the Kidz Bop CD's my mom left in the car with "Nevermind" by Nirvana and "Apocalypse '91" by Public Enemy and getting me into those kinds of music. My life has never been the same since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory The Beatles, Abbey Road (2019 Mix) blink-182, Take off Your Pants and Jacket These are the albums that not only made me think carefully about song structure, but they made me realize I could make music by myself. Tell us why you chose this song. “Forever” This song was a moment on the plane ride home from my city of Durham, NC. It speaks to the way my voice is my weapon, and how important harmonies and atmosphere are to my music.
