About Matt Wing

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Getting into my parent’s vinyl collection when I was really little. I remember pulling out the Steve Miller Band greatest hits album because of the horse, putting it on the turntable and loving it. Music has always been huge in my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Front Bottoms, In Sickness & In Flames The Goo Goo Dolls, A Boy Named Goo Tom Petty, Full Moon Fever Definitely was hard to pick three. Sickness & In Flames makes me think of my relationship. Full Moon Fever a fantastic album that I loved a lot when I first started playing music. A Boy Named Goo takes me back to my childhood. All three mean a lot. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Little Late” A Little Late is a song that comes straight from my heart, really sums about a lot about my life. I was voted most likely to be lates in high school, and have always been late to everything, where I got the idea for the name. It’s funny I swear. 🤣 What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating my first album with no equipment or experience at all. I did everything 100% myself, it felt really cool to finally attempt a dream of creating music I love. It’s definitely something I love and enjoy learning about. Music is life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Nope just going wherever doing something I love and enjoy takes me. I plan to just keep creating and see where that goes, I would love to play live or work with a band someday. Right now I’m focused on getting better at creating the music I write.
