Matt Wertz

Matt Wertz is a D.I.Y. singer/songwriter with a soulful, feel-good sound that combines alternative rock with acoustic folk and '80s and '90s pop and R&B elements. He issued a pair of independent albums before inking a deal with Nettwerk ahead of the release of 2007's blue-eyed soul-tinged Everything In Between. Subsequent efforts like Heatwave (2013), Gun Shy (2016), and Recently (2023) saw Wertz expand his sonic oeuvre with modern beats and textures that imbued his seasoned pop sensibilities with a neon sheen.
