In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bruce Springsteen, Darkness on the Edge of Town The War on Drugs, Lost In the Dream U2, The Joshua Tree Remastered Synthesizers, ambient guitars, big drums, saxophone, and cinematic lyrics. These albums are some of my foundational influences for both writing and production. I lose myself within them and find acceptance and my place in their worlds. Tell us why you chose this song. “Halfway to Charlotte” There hasn't been a song that has come close to the emotional weight as 'Charlotte' for me. I had met someone who was moving away and when they left it felt like I lost someone I knew my whole life. This was an emotionally raw account of how I felt. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I toured with 'Somebody's Child" on their North American Tour in 2023. We played the big cities like BOS and NYC. The energy in those rooms and the fans I met gave me reassurance and hope that I'm on the right path. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There will always be over ambitious goals, but I recognize now I am doing what I set out to do all those years ago. I write songs solely for me and when others find identity in my words, that means more to me than any vain dream of "success"
