In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 4, my sister and I got in a vocal booth to record "background vocals" with my dad on one of his songs. I love singing with my family, they're my safe space to show new demos, bounce off concepts, and reminisce on goofy memories! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE Joni Mitchell, Hejira Radiohead, In Rainbows My favorite part of a song or album is always the storytelling, which can come from the lyrics or the music, and I chose these three albums specifically because they transport me into a unique story about their lives and the others around them. Tell us why you chose this song. “Butterfly” I was listening to a podcast about Marie Antoinette and felt inspired to produce a "score" of her life, so originally there were no lyrics for Butterfly, just the instrumental. Later on, my co-producer Spencer Alfonso found my lyrics and put them in! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every day that I show up to create something out of nothing is a milestone for me, and it's the icing on the cake that it always happens with my partner and my bestest friends. My most memorable moments are always when we get to play live. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still have a long way to go in the learning process, so I have tons left on my bucket list! A big dream of mine would be to work with Shawn Everett one day. Another bucket list item is to one day create original music for a video game.
